Merry Happy Christmas to all

This was a super busy and crammed holiday for Lee and I. We split it just about perfect. We arrived in Dallas Dec 23 and left at 7am on Dec 25. We were in Austin until the afternoon of December 26. Pretty close to perfect. Lots of driving for Lee, and a challenge of staying awake in the passenger seat for me and the Snickers.

Daniel and Lee (there were outtakes, these boys hardly ever smile at the same time!)

Family picture! Me, Snickers and Lee

Christmas Eve was spent with Lee's family in Dallas. It was fun. We thought that Christmas Eve was the most important to his family - because his Uncle and Aunt come over for dinner and we stay up playing games late. But we still had to wait until Christmas morning to open presents. It was okay, just super early. I don't think they thought Lee and I could wake up early (if you know us, you will know it was a challenge, but when we have to be places -- we do it!). So we woke up around 5am to open presents from his family. Daniel got me a black and white kissy poster with a frame for our place. It's super cute. His parents got me lots of goodies, lotions, candy, a digital picture frame and more. Lee got me Spongebob Season 5, Mamma Mia (DVD and CD) and Shrek the Halls. I got Lee a laptop :) Since the goober broke his.

We arrived in Austin around 11am. The drive wasn't too bad. Lee said he was actually very alert and awake for as early as it was, and I tried to keep my eyes open as much as I could. We opened presents with my family and all the dogs. I got my sewing machine! Lee got a fryer. We got tons of other little goodies too. Lee also got me a ConAir version of the Tobi. (What is a Tobi Steamer?) It's awesome. I'm excited, I can make clothes and purses and steam the wrinkles out of them! WOO HOO! LOL.
After we exchanged presents we headed over to my moms friends house for a little more Christmas exchanging. It was a lot of fun. As seen above in our popper crowns. We topped off Christmas day with a viewing of "Marley and Me" which I loved. It is based off a book, and it was fabulous. I was laughing and bawling. I think they did a fantastic job.

All in all, it was a fantastic Christmas.

Oh, and i'm sorry you're still coughing. If its any consolation, my sinuses are clogged thanks to the lovely dry climate and cedar fever of austin!
