The money raised by Movember in the U.S. is split between the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

HERE’S WHAT TO DO

2. CREATE a new look by growing your moustache starting Movember 1st clean shaven
3. MOTIVATE your friends and family to donate and support your growing efforts

Gimme Gimme More

Snickers got a new bed from her grandma and grandpa. :) She is very happy. Lee and I were losing space on the bed more and more each night. She went from sleeping like a tiny dog in a ball at the end of our bed to spreading out across the whole bed like a great dane -- that's where I had to say no more puppies in our beds. Snickers sleeps to Lee's side of the bed and GusGus sleeps to my side.

Yesterday (September 16) was my Britney holiday. I had been anticipating this for months!! I ended up taking Sammie. I know Lee would have went, but I know he didn't necessarily want to go. I had sooo much fun! Although we were up semi high, she was still right there!! It was amazing. She played stuff from Baby One More Time... all the way to new songs off her most recent CD, Circus. She even played Breathe On Me - one of my all time faves. She did a cover of Alanis Morisette. Awesome. She did her whole show like a circus. Side acts, flashing lights, fire, smoke and fireworks. I could go on forever. All in all - it was a show of a lifetime. Love it.

Today (September 17) I wore a bald cap, for (most) of the day.
"On September 17, 2009 people will raise money for cancer-related charities by honoring those who battle the disease themselves. A marked departure from classic, individual sponsorship-based fundraisers, participants in Be Bold, Be Bald! will wear a ba...ld cap for a day in exchange for donations. Visit http://beboldbebald.org today to donate (search: Krystle Gervais) Every dollar helps!"

I only ended up raising $25, but I have through the end of September to raise a bit more. My real goal would be $50. Next year I will have a leg up on fundraising. It was a great experience all in all.

Now onto Friday!
