Basketball & Tattoos!

Today Lee, Max and I headed out to Huntsville for the day, well afternoon.

We headed to SHSU for the basketball game against Texas State (where Max got his undergrad). Duh, SHSU won. :) 92-82

It was a fun game, and I got to see Vicki & Rick :) My Huntsville Mom & Pop. I love watching and playing basketball.

After the game we drove Max around Huntsville, hitting up all the hot spots. We showed him around campus, drove by "death row" or the Huntsville Unit, and then over to the baseball game for a minute.

After a quick tour we headed over to VooDoo Tattoo for Lee's new tattoo (and free too! he had won it at the relay for life last year). Lee had dropped off a picture he liked and the idea of what he wanted it to look like about two weeks prior.

It looks so wicked cool! :) And he loves it, and that's what's important.

While sitting in the tattoo place, watching how easy it was for Lee, I thought I would brave up and get my little heart. I had it priced ($20), drew it, and sat in the chair. Oh lordy, I was so scared. But I had already paid for it. It was rough. Whoever said it doesn't hurt is full of crap. It hurts. I feels like an intense burn. After only one half of the heart, I wanted to stop and if it wasn't for Lee I think I might have. I HATE needles. But I did it!

It's not exactly centered, but pretty damn close. Also, I drew it! How cool is that? :) The heart is about the size of a quarter, so my watch will cover it perfectly, I'm stoked.

I posted it on my blog first, not my twitter and not facebook -- so that I could see who my loyal readers were. :)

Curse you! I wish you'd posted on LJ because I would have been the first to comment. You know how much I love ink!

Lee's is AWESOME. And I love yours, too! It's cute and tiny - the only thing I'm afraid of with it is *because* it's so tiny, it might blur pretty quickly. Also remember - once it's done healing, if you're planning on going outside, SUNBLOCK! The sun will fade it SUPER quickly :(
