Well last Friday we went to TGI Fridays and then to the Texas A&M game against the University of Arizona. It was a crazy game and I was super sleepy. A&M was behind the whole first half by at least 10 points and then came back in the second half and won by ONE point. Wow.
Saturday I worked at PETSMART and we got 4 out of the 5 puppies adopted! It was fabulous! :) The last pup was adopted first thing on Monday!
Sunday was the Brazos County Christmas Parade. The shelter participated and walked dogs. Lee helped carry the banner at the front and I rode in the back with Sheri.
Also Sunday (although I was coughing up my lungs) four of us from the shelter went and volunteered to help with a telethon for the local PBS affiliate. It was fun. Not as many calls as I thought, but we all had a lot of fun. Mom and Dad took pictures of the computer/tv and sent me one. We also have it saved on our TIVO. YAY.
LAST NIGHT IT SNOWED! Yes, in Texas! It was crazy insane. Lee woke me up this morning to tell me, I did not get out of bed. But don't worry -- the snow was still on the ground an hour later when I took Snickers out. Snickers did not like the snow. It was quite funny watching her hop to the parts of the grass that were no longer snowy. It even snowed this afternoon. I had snowflakes on my shirt! :) That makes anyone in the Christmas mood.
Sheri at work made a little snowman on her car! It was so cute, but this was snowman #2. YAY for snow in Texas.
