You know I am BSpears #2 fan. I have to show some love. There is a sample of her CD out there, it's 30 seconds of each track and I have already picked favorites. 1 - Kill the Lights and 2 - Circus. :) YAY! Gonna be sooo good. December 2nd, 2008.
Holly gets married in 15 days. I will be there with her in GA in 13 days. I am getting more and more excited, not excited about wearing a dress (haha), but getting to see her get married! I haven't seen her since the summer, but it seems like so much longer. We are growing up! Holly's getting married in November and I will be getting married in April! It's all so crazy.
I also got a call today for a new job with the Brazos Valley Animal Shelter. I think I will take it. I will be the volunteer coordinator and possibly start picking up some of their publications work. YAY. Real work with a non-profit! It's pretty exciting. There are things I don't necessarily agree with, but there is stuff like that with every job - I will just have to suck it up, and I can do that!
Lee turned 23 yesterday. YAY! My old man (haha). A whole 4 months older. :)
He had work, class and a test until 9pm yesterday. But when we got back our neighbors Josh and Julie, Max and my bia Melissa came over for some yummy ice cream cake. He was surprised :) I wish a few more of our friends could have come over, but it was still a lot of fun.
Tomorrow is an SHSU football game and the cold front is coming in, so it should be perfect football weather. Football weather is hard to come by here in Texas. It should be in the upper 60's tomorrow (for Texas -- that is cold), and I think that is perfect!!
My DWIGHT pumpkin won third place at my current workplace's pumpkin carving contest. So I got $20 to the bowling/laser tag/mini golf place here. Another treat for Lee's birthday.
Talked about possibly getting a new car, the Pontiac Vibe, sooner then later and guess what. Sweetie (my Ford Escort) acted up. She has a tendency to do that when I am mean to her. The brake lights wouldn't go off. This tiny little pad that hits the censor broke off. An inexpensive fix -- thank goodness, but still. Sweetie has a mind of her own sometimes!
Things are looking up!
