So, let's catch up.
I quit my old job and started my new job this week. I know some people think I am going through jobs like crazy...but I'm really not. I will confess that I have been interviewing and considering a lot of different options. I quit my temp job this week. I really didn't like it there. They didn't give a shit who I was or why I was there. I just needed to input the data and sit there. Eh! I am too much of a people person to sit in a back office and input data. But I did really enjoy my office mate Linda. I think we will definitely keep in touch. She and Leslie were the reason I was actually happy there.
My Huntsville Mom and Pop sent me a cute gift basket full of fruits, cheeses and crackers on one of my first days :)
I was everyone's favorite new employee -- I had free food! HaHa! It was very sweet of Rick and Vicki to send it to me. I am forever grateful to have them in my life! Love you!
This weekend my parents and sister came into town. I was super excited for Twilight and bought all of us (and Lee) tickets to go see the movie opening day. YAY! It was really good. I can't wait for the next ones though!! And guess what -- Sammie is hooked now. HaHa! I knew she would be, even though she doesn't like giving in to what's popular.
Mom and Dad got a new car. It's name is Ice Cube. It's sooo cute! They are super excited and now they can come and visit more.
Saturday, Dad and Lee went to the SHSU game while Mom, Sammie and I stayed in town and shopped. We literally shopped all day long! It was fun though. I got some more XMas presents and some stuff to take to my Holly this week. Woo Hoo!
Holly gets married this week. I will be out of town Wednesday night through Sunday. So don't expect a blog in between all that time -- bare with me and enjoy the holiday. :)
