That would be me!! I'm so excited! I had so many wonderful friends and my awesome family come out to see me walk across that stage in my bearkat orange high heels!
My cool hat that I decorated. I love that in college you are able to show just how spunky you are. I am a fan of "puff paint" and saw these cute and colorful buttons and figured that was a must have as well.
My parents, my sister and Lee (my fiance) have been my number one supporters. I couldn't have imagined getting through all of this schooling without them. I am also lucky to have the friends and extended family that I do. I just want to thank all of you!!
I am not your typical A student, but I will tell you that I fought hard and am proud to say that I did not get over a 900 on the (old) SAT, but damnit -- I graduated from college. I got an A on my very last paper in college! Out with a bang I say!
My mom made me a beautiful cake for the special day. It was chocolate :) of course, and home made everything!! It was sooo yummy. It had a picture of my very first day of school (back when I was blond) and a more recent picture of me towards the end of college (and a brunette). It was really cool. And of course it was bearkat orange and white! YAY!
I am now an alumni of SHSU.
