LIVESTRONG SUMMIT

Dear Friends and Family,

My oh my, how time flies. I am going to graduate in August with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications while majoring in Public Relations. My goal after graduation is to work for a non-profit organization that will allow me to help others.

I have been invited to participate in the Lance Armstrong Foundation's 2008 LIVESTRONG Summit in Columbus, Ohio. The event will be held on July 24-27, 2008. I will be attending the summit with a select group of survivors, volunteers, students and non-profit staff from across the United States. I will learn about the foundations goals and objectives as well as other aspects of the foundation - that I hope to apply in my own career after graduation.

As you can imagine, I am very excited about this opportunity, and am writing to ask for your support in this endeavor. In order to attend this event, I must raise about $1,500. I must notify the Lance Armstrong Foundation by June 13th in order to attend as a LIVESTRONG Summit delegate! As a result, I am asking you to pledge as much as you can to help give me the opportunity to attend the convention with the hope that I will apply what I learn in the very near future.
