So my friend Sandra took me to see the new Sex in the City movie at the premire in Houston yesterday. I had a blast. We arrived at the theater early enough to stand towards the front of the line. A little over 2 hours prior to the movie premire. Outside of the theater they had a red carpet to get to the front of the theater and a pink carpet up by the goodies. They had a "candy bar" that had sour candies that you could get filled in a bag and cosmos before you even went inside. Skky Vodka was a sponsor of the movie, so that is why the cosmos were a must.
We stood in line for a while, but it was all worth it. The movie was awesome. I have to tell you I am not close to being the biggest fan of the tv show, I mean I have watched a few of them on tv, but that is about all. But with this movie, you didn't have to know the show (although I'm sure it would have helped to understand some of the past relationships). It was an easy plot to follow, just enough sex, and just enough of the city. I really recommend this movie to anyone that has the chance to see it.
A side note: $12 for two drinks and a pretzel, a got pretzel goo on my shirt before the movie enough started, and I sat in gum. But over all, it was a good night.
